Linear Motion

Linear Motion
Miki pulley's linear motion products consist of very unique products, such as linear shaft drive and Rohlix. Linear shaft drive is a new cylinder model linear motor system which was designed to be driven by a most simple system. Rohlix converts rotational motion into linear motion by a lead of helix of six ball bearings installed in Rohlix at certain angles. Both are very unique Miki products.
Linear Shaft Drive
Linear shaft drive is a new cylinder model linear motor system which was designed to be driven by a most simple system. Driving without an external position sensor is possible because magnetic flux occurred from shaft enables position detection. It can occur thrust force immediately after starting because position of magnetic pole can be detected by the built-in position sensor that enables operation without preparing with external magnetic pole detecting elements. In addition, complex positioning driving is possible without an outer controller because the driver is built-in with positioning driving function.
SHM/SHD Model is a new cylinder model linear motor system which was designed to be driven by a most simple system.Driving without an external position sensor is possible because magnetic flux occurred from shaft enables position detection. It can occur thrust force immediately after starting because position of magnetic pole can be detected by the built-in position sensor that enables operation without preparing with external magnetic pole detecting elements. In addition, complex positioning driving is possible without an outer controller because the driver is built-in with positioning driving function. There are two kinds of shaft dia, φ6mm and φ 25mm. The maximum stroke is 1,045mm. The model is consisted of moving element SHM model and driver SHD model.

These new cylindrical linear motor systems were designed to enable driving with the simplest possible system. They detect position using flux generated by the shaft, so they can operate without external position sensors. The drivers also have built-in positioning functions that enable relatively complex positioning operations.
ROH'LIX
A linear actuator ROH'LIX has 6 precision ball bearings, and each 3 are fixed on each end of the aluminum block. They are attached with a uniform lead angle for the drive shaft to convert a rotation of drive shaft into an equilibrium linear motion.
